A Good'n Over At FFO
Over at the revitalized Flash Fiction Offensive, which seems to be getting stronger with every story, Chris Allinotte's "Heisting Miss October" is a great read. I'm a child of the Seventies and Chris did a great job of capturing the vibe 'o the times. Check it out HERE

It's a great story. I remember knicking my first porno mag and seeing those pics for the first time Although, for some reason, there were always pages of porn mags under the bushes of our local park when we were kids. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out, Sean!
Ha, love it Dave. I'm sure every kid from those days has their stories. As kids, we used to play war in the woods and one time we started digging a foxfole and hit the jackpot that the teenage hippies must have buried at their party spot. Compared to nowadays, it really seems like innocent stuff. I think "Stand by Me" is one of the greatest movies to depict how things really were.
ReplyDeletePlaying war!! Every kid in the world must have played that. You brought back some memories ther, Sean.
ReplyDeleteStand by Me. One of my all time favourites. Awesome film that I never tire of watching.
