What a bad year 2012 has been. First my dad passes away on Mother Day, then last week, my Grandmother, who was my Dad's mom, passed away in the same, slow, agonizing, and eventual morphine induced manner. They both ended up in the same nursing home, and it was very tough to go through for myself, my brothers, and my mom, It's just the four of us now, and I hope we have a long, healthy time ahead of us. The thing things that keep me going are faith, and the fact that no matter how bad things are for me, someone else is always worse off.
Now, in much more positive and uplifting news....
The always dependable site, Thrillers, Killers 'n' Chillers hosted a Halloween Horror Competition and have announced the winner and runner ups. Can't wait to read the stories once they are featured. A big round of congrats to all who participated. Well Done. Check out the announcement
